THREE NIETSCHES (2011)

For the last 10 years of his life, Nietzsche was out of his mind. The playwright was so impressed by this fact that she wrote a play.

Thomas Kroppar, a professional actor, plays Friedrich Nietzsche in a theater. Nitsky, a tram driver, considers himself a descendant of the great philosopher and reads Nietzsche’s works stubbornly. The actor and the tram driver play the drama of the philosopher’s last days in his right mind. As for Nietzsche, he is wandering the play, gradually plunging into madness. The psychiatrist Dr.Hoy and careless Anel’a are watching this performance.

The text is based on documentary materials – letters and testimonies of Nietzsche’s friends.
